Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate is a motivated multi-tasker who is invested in work that is fulfilling and impactful. They embrace change and tackle challenges with enthusiasm. They have an “all-in” disposition towards work, understanding that we are a fast-paced, high-growth organization with evolving priorities. They can excel at both independent tasks and collaborative work, leading with clear and candid communication. They exhibit humble leadership—the ability to drive initiatives forward while remaining excited about continuous learning and development opportunities. They feel strongly about being part of a team that advocates for people to live longer and better lives.

You should be comfortable owning all aspects of managing a physician network - credentialing, training, scheduling. You have worked with physicians before and understand how patient care is delivered. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and organizational skills, is not afraid to gather and provide feedback to improve colleagues’ performance, and has a knack for building reliable processes.

Most importantly, you are driven by a desire to advance the patient experience in the healthcare space.

    • Operationalize routine communication with physicians regarding updates to processes, implementation of new tools, and cultivation of best practices
  • Evolve existing processes and develop new methods to improve the quality, reliability, and efficiency of the physician operations function
  • Provide ongoing training and support to physicians regarding items like introduction of new products and operational requirements
  • Interface directly with physicians to provide ongoing feedback that enhances their performance in the non-medical aspects of their function
  • Improve the physician onboarding process by streamlining training, system access, and fulfillment of legal/regulatory requirements into a well-defined, documented process
  • Contribute to the physician recruiting process by establishing requirements and assessment criteria that are strong indicators that a physician will understand operational requirements and thrive in our particular telemedicine setting

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years experience in a medical/clinical operations role, preferably at a startup
  • Experience working with physicians and/or patients in a healthcare setting, ideally in a telemedicine environment

  • Systematic approach to solving problems with mindfulness on how best to build scalable solutions
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to train others effectively, deliver constructive feedback, and craft concise but effective messages that convey information and encourage action
  • Patient-centric AND Physician-centric — you understand our patients and their needs and are able to balance that with the needs and preferences of our physicians to provide as positive experience as possible across both groups
  • Enjoys working on cross functional teams
